I took part in volunteering with Plan My Gap Year for 1 week in Faridabad, India.
It was a great experience and I would recommend it to anyone! The application process was very simple, and I was put together with 3 of my friends that I was travelling with. We decided to take part in volunteering for a Children's Disabled School for the first half of the week, and a slum school for the rest of the week.
Although at first it was difficult with the language barrier, it soon became much easier and enjoyable. The volunteering programme was very flexible meaning we could change to different projects whenever we wanted to - this was a great benefit for me.

Unfortunately I was only able to take part in the volunteering for one week as I had to start a new job on a specific date. I did unfortunately have to pay the same amount for 1 week as my friends did for 2, which was a shame and might have been a bit better if I was able to just pay for one week, but all in all it was still worth it. I would recommend plan my gap year to anyone. They have great communication - very fast, and also very helpful.
