When booking my trip through PMGY, the staff could not have been more helpful! Any queries i had before starting my placement were answered promptly and the information booklet supplied was very useful and informative. Gad helped me to book my flights and shopped around for the best deal for which i was very grateful. The price of the programme was exceptionally low and great value for money compared to most volunteer programmes!

Teaching the children was such a wonderful experience and the staff and children were all very friendly and welcoming. The staff could all speak english which was very helpful and they were all so friendly, we socialised with them often outside of school which made us feel extremely valued. As my trip was out of term time i was placed at a local community center which was a short distance to walk each day.

Staying with the host family was an absolute pleasure! They were so accommodating and nothing was ever to much trouble. Que was a god send and always there should you need help with anything or have any issues. The two children are adorable and I shall miss living with the family a lot! We ate Vietnamese food 98%of the time which all tasted amazing. The house was lovely,very clean and spacious with many other volunteers staying there which was a great way of meeting new people.

Great experience and i would highly reccomend!
