I had the most amazing two weeks with Plan My Gap Year and Dr Bandhu. I came for a medical internship and learnt so much about health care in India. Dr Bandhu organised a variety of placements: working in a charity clinic, watching a surgery in a small hospital and helping the mobile medical unit distributing medicine to older people in rural areas. I also had the opportunity to work with kids at the slum school and the orphanage. It's such an eye-opening experience and I will never forget it.

The host family are very very welcoming and they always make sure we are comfortable. The food is soooo yummy and we are never left hungry. When I got sick they looked after me so well. I can never thank them enough.

Thank you so much for everything. I will never forget my time in India and the lovely people I've met here. Will totally recommend it to everyone at home :)
