PMGY were exceptional, they prepared me well before I left and made sure I was ok while out there !! Philip from PMGY was just exceptional !!

I did lots of research before I went and did go through a selection process to make sure I went with the right organisation - PMGY won not just in price but on the level of support they provide. Actually organising my trip ie applying, being approved and then getting my Placement details was painless and happened very quickly !!

The welcome pack before my departure provided by PMGY was really informative and I know other volunteers with other organisations didn't receive the level of guidance I did.

The orientation meeting I received when I got to SA delivered by SATS was very helpful and gave me some good tips and advice, the walking tour of Cape Town was also very special !!

I was placed with a host family in Grassy Park (in Cape Town) and the were lovely and actually made my trip. They really embraced me into not just their immediate family but the wider family as well. I honestly couldn't have asked for a nicer family to live with !!

My placement far exceeded my expectations and I have life long memories to keep and lots of photos !!

I would not hesitate in recommending PMGY or volunteering in SA. I was sad to leave and although I have only been home a couple of weeks I am planning my next trip !!
