“Turtle Conservation in Vanuatu”

Written on: 14/04/2012

I had a fantastic time in Vanuatu. While I was there I was taught how to climb coconut trees, catch mudcrabs, hand spear fish and start a fire with sticks. On the project I was able to help baby turtles out of the nest and hold on to an adult turtle that had to be tagged. The locals are all very friendly and helpful. The other people from the project were all friendly aswel and I have kept in contact with them. I definantly recommend this trip.
