This trip has been an amazing experience from being able to get hands on in captures and releases of animals which is something that I'm never going to forget to helping in the school which was eye opening, the children were amazing but just seeing the range of ages and ability in each class was something that you wouldn't see at home. Weekends were spent doing some form of activity on Saturday morning such as horse riding on the beach, visiting animal rescue centres or just going into one of the local towns it was always a group choice so that as many people as possible would be happy. Sundays were spent in the volunteer house and often meant Latin in the sun or DVD days I the weather was bad it gave you chance to bond with the others and has given me some close new friends. The volunteer work was hard but felt so worth while and you always felt it after cutting down the alien trees especially if you went after the monster trees! Other highlights of my trip include seeing all the new babies in the park, watching a lion hunt seeing the entire elephant herd, having the kids sigma and dance at the school an having to dig ourselves out when the cruiser got stuck in a ditch!
