Awesome fun

Looking back at my trip to Costa Rica with Gap360, it seems like I must have been there for several months considering how many different places I visited and things I had the opportunity to get involved in in such a short space of time. I was only there for a few weeks but I managed to help a turtle lay her eggs, climb two waterfalls, visit a volcano, work at an orphanage, visit an animal rescue centre, work at a children's day care centre, AND I had a whole week of Spanish lessons...awesome!

That's what's great about Gap360. They planned out a personal, fun-filled and diverse itinerary for me which gave me the opportunity to see so much of the country and try out lots of different things, without feeling rushed or that I didn't have enough time to relax. The forward planning and support throughout the trip meant that I was able to sit back, relax, and enjoy the ride, rather than worrying about how to get from A to B, or whether or not I'd have enough time to do everything I wanted to do.

Not only was the support and organisation from Gap360 great, but the best thing was that once everything was set, they let me get on with it! I knew their support was there if I needed it, but at the end of the day, the most important thing was for me to have a great time travelling out there by myself, and not for me to feel like I was on a restrictive, pre-packaged, unimaginative tour. I feel that Gap360 got the balance perfectly right in this sense, and I definitely would love to travel with Gap360 again!
