I work as a countryside ranger in the UK and I was really keen to contribute to a conservation project abroad and see a wide range of wildlife. I went to Costa Rica and it was AMAZING! There was so much wildlife to see, the location in the jungle and near to the beach was fantastic and the people (volunteers and staff) were great. The variety of surveys was really good and during my time we covered birds, otters, tutles, primates, reptiles and amphibians. We even got a glimpse of a puma on the camera trap! I would really recommend the trip. My only advice would be if you have sensitive skin take nappy rash cream for the heat rash!!
