My trip to Cambodia was so much more than I expected it to be! Everything was brilliant! The co-ordinators were welcoming, the local people were friendly & the food was better than I thought it was going to be! Everything ran smoothly from the pickup at the airport to the preparation of meals at the homestay! Would recommend this project to anyone interested in Medicine as a career! I learned so much from attending the ward rounds and felt like I was directly benefiting the locals with the construction projects at the hospital and the outreach program in the villages. Having the weekends off was nice as we got to travel to other parts of the country to explore different ways of life and history. I spent and incredible day at Angkor Wat and the other magnificent temples of Angkor. The trip was well worth the money asked for and I would do it again in a heartbeat if I could save up enough money to go again before uni!
