I went to Fiji to teach in July for a month and absolutely loved it it was the best month ever and i was so happy that i chose to go with Frontier !
From day one of signing up to do a project the staff were all really helpfull and were happy to answer phone calls/e-mails and would answer all your questions no matter how many you had! You get your own travel co-ordinater which was great because if you had any queries you could just send a quick e-mail and they would usually reply within a day ! They were really organised and you can do all the paper work online if you wish which makes it soo much easier! They sent you an exact list of what you need which was great because it made you feel so much more relaxed when packing. They also had a training weekend which was great because it meant i got to get to know people who i would be with before i went and it was a really fun weekend! When i got to Fiji the staff in country were also really great they met us in the airport which is soo good because being in a new country can be scary! First they take you through the all the health and saftey so you know exactly what to do and what not to do ! Then the next day we were showed round the city by our project coordinater and she showed us where to go and where not to go which was so helpful! Then we met our class i was at an intermediate school and absolutely loved and miss the kids so much now they are the nicest kids you will ever meet. I woke up every morning excited to go to school. Most weekends we went away and it was amazing because we could get in places for cheap with volunteer discount and it gave us chance to explore more of Fiji including some of the islands! Nightlife in Fiji is also pretty amazing you will have some of the most random nights out! During the project i stayed at coloniel lodge and Susie who runs it is amazing and cooks some gorgeous food and her 2 children Colin and Josh are just lovely and you feel like part of the family. It was an amazing month but my only regret is not staying for longer because i really didn't want to leave !!
I can't really say there was anything i didn't like about Frontier or my project! If your wanting to travel but like i was, aren't ready to do it alone i HIGHLY reccomend you choose to go with Frontier. They will keep you organised and will give you the most exciting adventure ever !
