If you go to buy a sofa from Sofa Design beware as the customer care is nil. I purchased a sofa that they told me was half price and I still paid £1900. After 11 months it started to come apart at the seams. After a lot of phone calls and emails, all of which were unanswered the Director came down and told me that "He could live with the problem" Eventually he agreed to recover the sofa if I came to the showroom and selected another fabric, which I did. He told me on most that I picked they were not hardwearing, so I chose leather which was agreed with the second director . What they did not tell me was that they were going to recover the seat only and in the wrong colour. This is over a period ow of 7 months. the final attitude I have from them is thats as good as it gets! If I want a solution to take them to court. I have checked them on companies house and various other sites to find that they are in the process of being struck off which is quite common looking at the profile. They close one company down and open up in another name which means you have no come back should there be a fault on their "10 year" guarantee. As this company prices their products at between £2000 and £6000 and do blinds, curtains and carpets. I have one piece of advise.
