Stay clear, all the positive reviews on Trust Pilot have been made in store just after purchase Firstly if I could give 0 stars I would ! We purchased our corner sofa 18 months ago and like everyone else we were asked to leave a review as soon as the deposit was paid, that’s how they get their high review rating, if you search for the one star reviews you will get the idea of the journey you are about to encounter. Below is a summary of our 18 month experience with Natuzzi. Foam on seats, arm rests and lumbar support all starting to lose structure and shape after 19 days of use. Contacted Natuzzi, they sent a technician to assess, he said he could put 2 inch foam packers in to firm the seats up, this was declined as after paying £6500 I thought this was unacceptable. I started a section 75 claim with my credit card company. Natuzzis response was that we had ‘buyers remorse’ you will see this phrase a lot when you read the one star reviews. They also falsified the technicians report; the one they sent to the bank stated no fault while the original stated fault found, also the wording was changed to favour their narrative. We was instructed by the bank to commission our own independent report, we instructed Bardale Furniture Assessors we found this companies name from one of the poor Natuzzi reviews. Their report stated that the sofa was not repairable and unfit for purpose, the credit card company immediately refunded our £2000 deposit. A section 75 claim was also raised with the finance company, but because we was out of the 30 day return period we had to accept a repair. Natuzzi stated that they would repair the sofa inline with all the defects found by Bardale. The sofa was collected and returned; All the seats and lumber areas had been stuffed with extra foam, this created a severely distorted shape to the sofa. We complained, no answer, again we paid for another Bardale report, again that concluded that the sofa was not repaired to a satisfactory standard and again stated that it was not fit for purpose. After we issued a letter before action, Natuzzi and the finance company agreed to a full refund, also they refunded all of our Bardale report costs. This is a very short version of our Natuzzi experience, I have written this review hoping that it will stop you from dealing with this company, they lie to the point of falsifying their own report, please stay away, you have been warned !

“Worst company to deal with”

We purchased a sectional from Natuzzi and after a few years the frame is now bent. We had a technician come out and see the couch and agreed with us about the problem. Then we received am email telling us it’s a different problem and the 10 year warranty did not apply. I have called numerous times but they don’t care. I told them I would write a bad review and the girl told me to do what I need to do. Very rude. I will never buy Natuzzi again. And I told all my family in Europe never to buy from them again.

“ Natuzzi Italian recliner Leather sofa / chairs”

Recliner and chair dosent work paying a large sum of money we paid ww expected it to last longer than 4 years the aftercare is very disappointing wouldn't recommend. Better off buying a cheap one! Was told when we asked them to come out to take a look at the chair because the leather was torn they insisted the cow must have been a busy one and that was normal! thought it was a joke should have realised then I made a poor choice took out extended 5 Yr warranty but turns out I'm not covered for mechanism or structure

“Lovely sofa, good quality”

I'm writing this review because I was horrified to see the reviews having already ordered the sofa at Lakeside. It's so difficult for my husband and me to find a sofa that's comfortable for both of us, we've looked for ages, so having found what we wanted at Natuzzi Lakeside, we ordered it without checking the reviews. It's a non-recliner. The salesman was a bit pushy once we had decided on what we wanted, and included insurance for an increased fee without checking we wanted it. We waited a couple of months in a state of dread because of the negative reviews. The sofa was ready and delivered before the maximum time promised, so we were happy. We arranged the cost of taking away the old sofa with the company on the phone, it was £95 to be given to the drivers. There was no charge for delivery of the new one. The delivery company Store to Door was fine, the guys very careful and helpful. The sofa looked lovely on unpacking. The cushions are well-stuffed as you would expect, so we found it a bit hard at first, but I've got used to that, or else it has settled a bit, and we both find it very comfortable. The leather quality is good. It is well made and looks lovely and we are very happy with it. I don't care where it's made though the label seems to suggest the leather is cured in Italy and the furniture made in Italy. So 5 stars.

“Shockingly poor quality. Appalling don’t waste your...”

Paid £8687 for 2 reclining sofas. Within a couple of weeks of delivery both sofas started to sink on seating and back uprights. Within 15 weeks it is impossible to sit Ona flat even supported surface. You literally sink into a ridged hole. If you sit outside any part of the sinkage you literally topple over. We have reported the fault to be told this is normal wear and tear and no fault exists. Unsurprisingly, this is THEIR technician view. The fabric do leather on both sofas is also badly rippled and looks terrible. As a gesture of good Will, apparently, we have been offered the input of foam pads to fix the problem. A problem which they say doesn’t exist. Why we we accept a repair to products a few moths old advertised as high end quality. Do NOT BE FOOLED by what you see in the showroom which is presently excellently. What is delivered in no way represents what we saw and decided to buy. Seriously it is so poor you wouldn’t believe it. THEY have refused to refund or replace with new. We feel their actions are intimidating as an international company. They will not enter into any direct dialogue with us. They claim the technician was independent but the salesperson who did the sale advised us to get an Independent Report. Why would he do this. ITS TERRIBLE, SHOCKING APPALLINGLY POOR QUALITY

yes it is Natuzzie…… I refer to Bought at the Straiton branch in Edinburgh Treat to myself that’s not quite what I expected it to be. Took delivery early July 2023. Disappointed right from the startwith the leather quality and 5 months into ownership the leather sags significantly like it’s not got enough stuffing in it. It is not a top end product as advertised and will not stand the test of time. It sags everywhere. Very very disappointed. Do not buy from this company.

“Avoid Natuzzi…Absolutely Terrible ”

Had to give one star review in order to write this. Not even worth one star. Paid £7 for a corner sofa. Sofa arrived with a broken leg, sagging material and very poorly made. Raising issues with Natuzzi was extremely difficult and frustrating. Calls were never returned. When we finally got through we were only offered a repair or an exchange with no refund as an option. Despite requesting a refund, no one bothered to sympathise or took us seriously. Would you be happy to pay for a £7k sofa and have it repaired? Hence we had no option other than to report to our credit card company to open a dispute with Natuzzi. Finally after 5 months the sofa was removed and the refund paid in full. Everything about Natuzzi is shocking! For reader of this review, I cannot emphasise enough to proceed with caution, Think twice and avoid purchasing items from this company!

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY, THE WORST CUSTOMER CARE I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED. Being influenced by the 4.8 out of 5 Trustpilot rating, we placed an order paying a deposit. The next day I noticed from the indecipherable part codes on the hand written Order Form that the wrong sofa was on it. Natuzzi wanted hundreds more to get what we asked the salesperson to order so I cancelled the order when they refused to refund our deposit. I raised a Section 75 claim against them using our card provider who upheld our case and refunded our deposit. Don’t let this manipulated TrustPilot rating influence your decision. As part of the pre-sales process, Natuzzi makes a big thing about this rating to instil confidence in prospective clients that they are the right company to place their order with. What happens is immediately after the order is signed, the salesperson asks, “if you are happy with the service I’ve offered, please post a review while I attend to paperwork”, asking you to scan a Trustpilot QR code on a card. You’ll see the 5 star ratings are very short and are obviously written in store, just after placing the order, when they will of course be happy with the service provided. The reviews posted in store are not representative of Post Order reviews, if you edit the Trustpilot search to 1 and 2 star reviews, you’ll see “real world” reviews based on customers post sale/delivery experiences which are shocking. “Terrible quality not the same what displayed in the...”

Unfortunately bad experience with Natuzzi!!! no even respond from them or try to fix the issues. Full delivery should me "mad"e on Jun/July. Please see attached pictures for proof and previous emails with Natuzzi. full invoice is £8500 deposit we paid: £4000 and the finance:£4500 but we didn't even received the other half of the delivery has been returned immediately, do to damaged items on 21 July 2023 This is now going to be to long. I am really disappointed with this situation and how Natuzzi dealing with the issue. Not even that top of everything they start the finance and worth of £4500 no even delivered yet, what I received that covering my deposit £4000 If this is the standard of this Company sorry to Mr Natuzzi this is Joke. For that much money better company out there. WHAT HAS BEEN DAMAGED Coffee table £800 Sideboard table £3500 Delivery fee £250 Definitely not paying that And they start Finance already. Lol All experience in Natuzzi Romford of COURSE they are try to put on Natuzzi head office, they are not sorting the issues. SIMPLY VERY DISAPPOINTED.

I recently bought 2 expensive sofas. The finish and quality is sub standard. I complained but Natuzzi would do nothing regarding my complaint. Save your money and shop at DFS or SCS, the quality there is much better. Shocking customer care!

“Avoid Natuzzi - Poor quality furniture made in Romania ”

I’m very dissatisfied with Natuzzi Lakeside in Essex and Natuzzi furniture. The leathers sofas are of low quality and of very poor standard. Their quality control is of a very poor standard and does not meet the standards expected of such a reputable brand. I purchased a set of two and three seater sofas for the sum of £4000. On delivery of the new sofa set, I noticed that the leather in one the sofas was damaged and the back rest was also faulty, making squelching and wobbling noises. I immediately went to the shop with pictures and a video on the same day to report the faulty goods. The store manager then asked me to send an email of the pictures and video to him which I did. He said that a Natuzzi Technician will contact me to inspect the furniture. 

The Natuzzi technician’s report confirmed that one of the leather sofas leather was wrinkled and the back rest was wobbling. How could this sofa set they claim is brand new pass quality control of Natuzzi? I have asked for a full refund on the day of delivery of this damaged and faulty sofa set. Natuzzi has refused me a refund, making excuses that the matter has been referred to Natuzzi Italy. What concerns me with Italy? Did I purchase the goods from Italy? I bought the goods in a shop in the UK and NOT in Italy. I need my refund. The goods are of poor quality and as a result I need a refund. Another thing I noticed is these people (Natuzzi) sell furniture by misrepresentation: claiming that the furniture is coming from Natuzzi Italy, whereas the sofa set that was sent to me was made in Romania and NOT in ITALY. 
BUYERS BEWARE - AVOID NATUZZI.

“Six months for delivery when it was promised in four”

The customer service of this company is truly shocking. I am still awaiting a sofa promised two months ago.phone calls are not returned, emails are ignored. I am now taking legal advice. I will never deal with them again, and feel everonw should know what they are potentially facing. I wish I had looked at review websites before buying, as it seems to be the same story over and over. There is something far wrong with this company.

“Atrocious Customer Service”

Having paid over £4000 for two new sofas from Natuzzi Editions Chester I naively expected quality in terms of service and product; I could not have been more wrong. As a retired Head of Education, I consider myself to be reasonably intelligent and able to make valid judgements; my dealings with Natuzzi has rocked my confidence! DO NOT BUY from this company! In less than 10 months the sofa seat cushions had collapsed to the point where I was almost sitting on the framework. Having taken out extra insurance, I expected a speedy resolution to the problem. Sadly, this was not the case. While coping with my husband's Cancer diagnosis, I had to fight tooth and nail for 11 months before I got any sort of help with correcting the problem. Numerous phone calls and emails passed between me and the person, the so called Head of Customer Service during which time I was told to, put off and just about everything was done to try and prevent me from seeking a resolution. With the help of my sister and Consumer Rights, the furniture was eventually repaired; whether the repair will stand the test of time remains to be seen! I had read some poor reviews about the company and brought this point up in the showroom but was assured that this particular branch was reliable, honest and committed to customer satisfaction; sorry but this is a pack of falsity. In my 50 years as a consumer, I have never had to write such a derogatory but HONEST review. I hope I never have cause to do so again. Please be warned; DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY

“Money to burn? Give it to Natuzzi”

If you want very poor quality, expensive furniture with terrible customer service please buy from Natuzzi. Do not buy anywhere else as all the above criteria will be met and more. A very brief summary of my issues with Natuzzi with regards to furniture purchased at a cost of £4600. Sofa and chairs purchased on 27 Feb 2020, delivered Sept 2020 : faults reported on Nov 2020. Reluctantly agreed on replacement sofa in Oct 2021 after many emails and technician visits. Replacement delivered Feb 2022: faults reported May 2022 Faults on both sofas: Creaking noises (rectified by technician on last visit). Loud fabric rubbing noises when operating the recliner on both sides. Unable to be repaired according to technicians. Numerous technician visits, 32 emails sent by me (many without reply from Natuzzi) and a visit from the Area Manager. As a last resort I have written to the Director, Natuzzi UK Retail Ltd and copied Natuzzi Director based in Italy stating that, to avoid taking court action to recover full cost, I am willing to use Alternative Dispute Resolution to resolve this problem.

With reference to the above review I eventually received a refund of the total cost from Natuzzi. It has taken 2 years and many emails and visits (see initial review) to get to this stage. Natuzzi clearly have an issue with both quality of product and customer service post purchase.

Sorry to hear about your experience. I’ve emailed numerous addresses, Facebook, WhatsApp, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn and had no response, did you manage to get hold of them? If so can you give me some advice please? It seems Natuzzi have a huge problem with customer service or lack of it!!! I can honestly say they are the worst company to deal with.

“Poor quality ”

We haven’t had a great experience, our first choice of sofa arrived and within 3 days the leather was sagging significantly and was so uncomfortable you couldn’t even sit on it. I asked to reject it but they persuaded me they could make it comfortable but failed in doing this. They then offered a reselection; we accepted and unfortunately haven’t had a great experience with this one. We opted for the Portento model and within 6 months the frame broke and within 18 months (still in warranty) the interior foam deteriorated rapidly on the left and right side to the point where you can feel metal in your back. They claimed this is not a defect and the problem has occurred due to our preferred seating position, not sure how you can sit on a sofa wrong. As a gesture of goodwill they offered to fill it out with more padding. It was still in warranty so not sure why this is a gesture of goodwill. The top technician arrived to carry out this work but could not fill out the problem areas as it will break the mechanism. They continue to state there are no manufacturing/design defects but have offered to replace the back cushions, we couldn't accept this as the same problem will occur again. We have now arranged an independent inspection and are ready to take legal action. We spent almost £8k on a suite we thought would last 10 years plus, in reality it hasn’t even lasted two. For that price you’d expect nothing but top quality. We feel really let down by Natuzzi Editions.

“hidden cost for delivery”

Avoid avoid avoid! Terrible experience, took months to get my money back. This company (Designer Sofa distributor of Natuzzi in UK) terms and conditions have been created to protect them. Unfair terms! After sale customer service was non existent, lots of 'not my problem' attitude. The lady at the Watford store was friendly until I paid a deposit. She failed to tell me the deposit was non-refundable and failed to inform me the recliner sofa required an electric power connection which was a problem as my sofa is in the middle of the lounge. I described this to her during initial conversation. I found out about the power connection requirement online after I already put a deposit down. I contacted the store the same day to cancel the order but the store wasn't interested. She acused me of buyer's remorse a few days later! How dare she! Took months of emails with customer care, many calls with Which? Legal to seek legal advice. I finally got my deposit back when I sent a letter before court proceedings. I wasn't bluffing, I was going to take them to small claims court. Trading Standards have been informed of my experience.

“Awful just awful”

In simple terms this Company are awful. We purchased 2 sofas in August and were told delivery would be the end of November. The end of November came and no Sofas' but on reviewing the paperwork is was clear that the sales rep had given then an 8 week buffer by writing Nov/Dec (so please read the paperwork before signing). We had no contact from Natuzzi at all so I called to be told it was delayed and that it would now be the 6th of Jan, therefore, missing the promised Xmas delivery. I asked for a call from their Head Office as I wanted to cancel my order given the delays and the infuriating lack of contact from them. It took them until the 24th of Jan for one of their Area Managers to contact me by which time we had another 2 delays and now the order was due in on the 2nd of Feb - so 22 weeks!!!! Worst customer service ever as the initial 8-week buffer they gave themselves allegedly covered them and again read the paperwork as they claim delays are not their fault and the contract is binding. I would like to recognise that while the employee's in the Branch are doing their best they are being let down by the dismal aftersales customer service that is supposed to be provided. To add to this even though the order was quoted as being in it's not due to be delivered until the 8th of Feb so in essence, it has taken them nearly 24 weeks !!!!!

“Beware ”

Beware - Great service when purchasing my couch the last week in May, but not a great service when your told August , September at the latest and still no couch mid October. After contacting them numerous times calling and emailing , no call backs no emails. I have a living room with no couch. A date has now been given for delivery because I have chased and chased but in the meantime I have had to purchase a couple of chairs to sit on, I think it’s fair to ask for compensation for the chairs but again no response or acknowledgment. Very poor customer service from the Area Manager who isn’t interested in trying to resolve or even to take the time to speak to us.

Are they definitely made in China? I asked the question in the shop today. They assured me the furniture is made in Italy. Really concerned, they are a lot of money.
