The shutters took months to arrive. Front room shutters were very poorly fitted. I was advised the balance payment would be debited from my card. They had the card details from paying the deposit. Company did not take payment or make further contact with me for MONTHS, then contacted me chasing for payment. we arranged a payment plan and then company stopped contacting me monthly as oer our agreement and then sent a county court judgement. The company is unprofessional, incompetent and the quality of the shutters is crap.My previous shutters had been provided buy Sandersteads Shutters. Much more professional company to deal with. I would never use Premier Shutters or recommend to any friends!.

After our initial appointment with the salesman, we felt completely confident we were buying quality shutters from a professional company. The fitter came to measure up and we were very specific about the shutters being inside the window frame NOT on the outer edge of our Victorian window frames. No plan was drawn up (as supposed to be done) and no advice or discussion occurred. The date for fitting was moved to a day neither me or my husband would be home. So, we arranged for someone else to be here to supervise, but of course they didn't know how they should look. It was either this or wait another month for a date! Sure enough when we arrived home, they had been fitted to the outside of the frame - so it looked as though we didn't have window frames or sills. It was AWFUL. And they were the wrong style of shutter and very badly fitted! As it turned out the fitter had left the company and someone else took over. He took about 3 hours to fit 6 shutters - way less than he should have done. Long story short, the area manager came out and re measured, discussed options and advised best style etc. A great guy. Full house of replacement shutters were ordered and we waited another 3 months for delivery. The fitter this time was excellent. Professional and experienced. We were left with damage to all window frames and sills but the new shutters are perfect. Customer care during all of this was excellent. We dealt with an adviser who called almost every week with updates and to check things were on track and he also resolved issues with the damage to the window frames we were left with. He restored faith in large companies and having a UK based office/customer care really proved valuable. I would say to anyone buying shutters, to do your research. There are so many variations/options available, make sure you choose the right style of shutters for you and that you supervise the fitting! AND make sure the fitter who measures up is the one fitting! And that he understands exactly what you want.

We had Wooden Shutters fitted in 3 rooms in our house. From the initial sales consultation, from measuring to installation we couldn't be happier with Premier Shutters. Everyone we dealt with (face-to-face and via phone and email) had a professional, happy and 'can do' attitude. We changed our minds on what we wanted in one room and it wasn't a problem and they really thought about the best ways to fit in each room; it wasn't a simple 'one solution fits all'. To top off the great service, our Shutters look great. The chap who did the installation was efficient, really tidy and has done a quality finish. We would definitely recommend this company and their products. The price we paid was very competitive.

Brilliant company. Office are really helpful and friendly. Kept up to date throughout the whole process. Waited quite a while (12 weeks - standard lead time for delivery from manufacture with most company's in uk) but worth it!! Installed to perfection and the guy who fitted them was really tidy and helpful.

Ordered blinds for multiple rooms. After waiting 4 months, one of the bedroom's blinds are missing and another windows' blind doesn't fit. After raising this with Premier Shutters, I had to wait 48 hours for them to get back to me. Now the 3 month wait begins for the corrected shutters. Their customer service is slow, and attention to detail for a product with such a long lead time is below poor.

Used Premier shutters for shutters to our living room and bedrooms, our first contact was booking the appointment which was easy. the sales guy was on time and explained everything fully,we even changed our mind on some things that we wanted after his advice ( rather than just agreeing with everything we said ) The shutters have now been fitted and we are over the moon,the fitter did a fantastic job

We have endured a painful 8 months dealing with this company. Took 3 months for shutters to arrive, we paid in full pre installation. After two attempts to measure our shutter, they have been fitted with unsightly gaps in between the joins. It has taken numerous emails, calls, instructions and stress to get even close to a correction. Company accepts no ownership or fault for the issue, manager always in meetings and NEVER returns calls. They constantly make mistakes I.e ordering incorrect colour. Fitters don't turn up. To make matters worse we rarely get an no apology, call back and the customer after care is the worst I have ever experienced. We are currently taking legal action (my husband is a lawyer). Please avoid at all costs.

Premier quoted and sold us shutters for our bay windows in the lounge and bedroom above. The representative was friendly, helpful and did his best to give us the best deal he could. Their price was about 10% lower than one company and less than a third of the quote from another (they were a joke). It took about 10 or 11 weeks for them to be made and a fit date arranged with us, which we were happy with, as we needed to redecorate both rooms. On the day, the fitter arrived, cleared a workspace, used plenty of covers on our furniture and carpets and started fitting. It took about four hours for the work to be done and another 30 minutes for him to put all of the card and packaging into his van. We're really happy with the shutters and would recommend Premier for the straight talking, honest approach and good prices.

We'd had a couple of quotes for our bay window shutters before the Premier designer came. Right from the start, he gave us advice the others hadn't and explained everything in non-technical terms and made sure we were happy with his advice. What really made a big difference to us, was that he had a tool on his iPad that projected our shutter choices onto our window, it was amazing to see what the shutters would look like before they were fitted because we couldn't really imagine them. We saw exactly what we had agreed with him and he then emailed the picture to us when we'd finished, that was brilliant! We never felt under pressure from him at all and were happy to give him our order, his price was very competitive. After a wait of about 10 days, which was a bit longer than we thought it would be, the fitter arrived and measured again just to make sure everything was accurate. The shutters were fitted about three months after that, we'd have liked them sooner, but all of the companies we spoke to were offering much about the same so that wasn't really a problem. Now that they've been fitted and we're used to them, we know we made the right choice. The original designer/salesman has been back and we've ordered some for our bedrooms.

APPALLING COMPANY & SERVICE. Nine months of hell dealing with this company. Two measurement surveys and they turn up to first installation with 3 out of 5 shutters order but only two fit anyway. Ten working days to find out "they were measured wrong". Four month lead time on re-order of three shutters and then turn up to second installation with only TWO SHUTTERS. You ring they office and they are the most unprofessional, unenthusiastic and careless people I have ever dealt with. They ALWAYS have a meeting to go to, ALWAYS have to look into it, ALWAYS say "we get back to you" AND DON'T. ALWAYS assure you that they are looking into it. Next stop Trading Standards for me as they are really just an utter waste of space.

We ordered our shutters to be fitted paid 50% deposit waited 14 weeks then they planned fitting after changing agreed spec , they then came (July) to fit carpenter who said he hadn't fotted these a lot. On fitting he split them tried to cover it but I spotted it. They then ordered the replacement said it would be quicker . Still no shutters October now but 3 calls saying we had outstanding payments on the shutters even though we agreed pay 50% up front and East on completion

So far 20 weeks and no shutters. Took day off for first installation and when they came they didn't have all the components. Had to be reordered from China. At the moment 9 weeks after the original date I'm wasting my Saturday waiting for a fitter to arrive who is 3 hours late and hasn't got the courtesy to ring ! Avoid this company like the plaque they are interested in any customer care only your money!!!!

Could not fault the guys who installed my shutters in my living room and unlike other companies where things were a hassle and appointment dates couldnt be made Premier were quick to respond and were prompt and polite throughout. I've recommended to a friend already and I am thinking of getting my bedroom done next and I will certainly be using Premier again.

I got Premier Shutters out for two bedrooms in my home. I couldn't have been happier with the service. The man that came round was really helpful, gave me really good advice and helped me pick the right shutters for me. So many things to think about that I hadn't even considered! I never felt pressurised which I was worried about. You have to wait a little while for shurtters but it sounds like this is the same for all companies. When they were ready they gave me a call and came round to fit a couple of days later. They have made such a difference to the room, look great from the inside and outside. I am saving up for the bathroom now!

I had a appointment today with premier shutters. Would have been able to rate them if they turned up.! When I arranged the appointment I did ask how many advisors the company had in my area as Hillarys only have one which is just unreliable as premier shutters I was told they had around 5 but doesn't seem to be the case now as no one is available to cover the appointment.

I had quite a different service to you. I requested an appointment online on the Saturday and they came out on Tuesday. The guy was great, bought shutters for the upstairs bedrooms and they look fantastic! I found them really good at keeping me up to date on the progress of my shutters. Sounds like you were unlucky but I would definitely give them another shot.

I have had such a good and positive experience with Premier Shutters, I wanted to write a recommendation as there seem to be so few services that really live up to expectations. Not only were they professional, reasonably priced (we had 3 other quotes) and courteous, but were really helpful and friendly over the telephone too. A really great service from start to finish.

This is exactly what experienced. Horrendous customer service, terrible after care. DO NOT USE premiere shutters. We are currently taking legal action on shutters purchased last year.
