Mistake number 1,walking into one of their stores and ordering a day bed which I am still waiting for, and other items, and two sofas.
Mistake number 2, Taking out their store card with another rubbishy firm.
The assistant was too busy going on about the benefits of their card and I only agreed as I was paying cash. I inquired if there was enough credit for all the items to go on it.She assured me there was.
Some weeks later I had a call from the delivery team to say that they would deliver the sofas the following Monday. On the Thursday prior to that I have a call from the shop to say I did not have enough credit on the card after all, and what I had paid was just the deposit, and the delivery date is cancelled until I pay the full balance. They assured me if I came in on Saturday the delivery would still go ahead.
Had a call from the store Monday, they would not be delivering.
Said I was thinking about cancelling.Later in the week was informed they would deliver Saturday.Told them not Saturdays as that day was not convenient, so they said they would get back to me.They did, and said they would be here Saturday. Unbelievable.
I have now cancelled,because of this and claiming that I want it rescinded because of misrepresenting. At first I was told I would have to pay 25% cancellation fee and now it gone down to 15% I'm taking them to the small claims court.Its just complete incompetence.
