Despite the negative reviews we have still decided to go for an IKEA kitchen. What a huge mistake it was. First of all, the delivery service was just a nightmare. They have given us the timeslot. I being pregnant, had to wait the whole day in an unheated house waiting for the delivery. When I managed to reach IKEA by the end of the day, they said the delivery was coming the next day actually. No apologies, nothing. Same happened the next day! and the day after! basically, i spent 3 days in an unheated house, calling them and getting " the delivery is on its way" and then "sorry, some kind of a mistake, will come next day".. Secondly, some of the items have not been delivered and some are just wrong. Mind you, you get c 180 individual items at delivery, so checking all of them and ensuring they all match your kitchen, is impossible. Lastly, when I had to order some extra items that gone missing, the IKEA lost the parcel. They now claim it is my responsibility to go through the neighbors and try to find it! They were so extremely rude on the phone, this is unbelievable. I am shocked. Never again !
