I ordered my ikea furniture (tv stand and sofa) then I read all the negative reviews on this site and got worried that I had made a major mistake! Well, I got an email straight away with a provisional date for the 13th december, then a text with an actual date for the 18th dec, just a week later than the provisional so not too bad. Then got a text the sunday before with the time they would deliver.
Delivery driver phoned an hour before delivery like the text said they would so was so far so good.
My partner works from home so he could take delivery, said the delivery men were nice and asked where to put the stuff so was not just dumped anywhere. All components were there, both items of furniture came with clear instructions as well as the tools required to assemble, both items measured to what the web site said they would (v important as space is tight. Tv stand and sofa are both sturdy and look nice. Needlessly worried thanks to this site!!
