Having endured the torture that is the disorientation of shopping at Ikea, I finally found out that you cannot simply pick up a Galant desk from the shelf. No, you have to find a member of staff who then prints a colection order - interesting to note that mine was 50% illegible because no-one could be arsed to change the printer ink, so it was virtually impossible to read at checkout. Having overcome that hurdle, and waited for 20 mins at collections, get the damn thing home only to discover two of the legs are missing the screws which connect it to the frame, I.e. are pretty vital! Now I look at the packaging, it's clear that it has been opened and the two screws removed deliberately.
Now I have an 80 mile round trip to look forward to, and no doubt a long wait at customer service ( ha ha) to get the errant screws. I dare say they wil take them from other legs, so sme other poor sod will get the same problem in a few weeks.
The very last time I wil be going anywhere near this company.
