I was unfortunate to have to visit DFS with my Dad on 6th November. He wanted to purchase a matching sofa to the 2 seater he already has.
First of all there was the hard sell. He was told a manual recliner would be too hard to use & then he was told he needed the stain guard. The salesman would not take no for an answer until i intervened and then he told me not to shout at him.I categorically did not shout but i was firm in putting my point across.Then we get to the GUARANTEED CHRISTMAS DELIVERY which is emblazoned from every display in the shop.Alas this was not available and the settee will in fact take 12 WEEKS.
FALSE ADVERTISING.Christmas delivery is still being advertised now & if you read the small print it only involves selected sofas. Pity this is not displayed in the shop.
