Having purchased 2 two seater reclining settees 18 months ago! We started to notice the material was not only wearing quickly but turning an orange colour. Having paid a fortune and extra on insurances for stain resistant, we decided to contact 'DFS' in March of this year. To our surprise they did send a gentleman to have a look at our settees, he agreed there was a problem with the material and remarked how well we had looked after them! We would hear within a week? We even said we would be happy to pay extra to have them recovered in a good quality leather or material. Thought things were too good to be true! Not a word for over a week, my husband made goodness how many phone calls to Exeter 'DFS' without much success. So he decided to contact Head Office! They were no help, only comment was that 'DFS' had never had any problem like this before?
In the end we were contacted though we are unable to have it recovered in any other material, other than the same one again! But it has to be ordered from China!!!!! Unable to say though whether we will have the same problem again? Recently we have been told the material should arrive in AUGUST! The settees will be recovered locally. Hence I intend taking photos of every inch of the settees to make sure they are totally recovered! You would not believe how upset we are with 'DFS'. Now we have decided to accept what will be done and in the future get some money together a replace them not from 'DFS'

hope it dont go like ours after 3 months and DFS said its not their problem
