Ordered and paid for a child's bed frame just before the new year. I had to wait 2 weeks for a delivery and pay £44.50 for an AM delivery. I was the second delivery of the day which was great. However on.y one part of my order was on the Lorry. The delivery centre said that they could not inform me if it was on lathe Lorry as they didn't have a manifest for the Lorry.
Customer service was of little help. After having to wait 24 hours to see if it was on the Lorry I spoke to customer service again to be informed that they couldn't help and diverted me back to the delivery centre. I was then informed I would have to wait another 3 weeks for the remainder of my order.
At this point I asked for my money back and the goods to be collected. I was then informed that there would be a delivery charge and I would have to wait until the stock was back in their warehouse before I could get a refund, which I have to get by going back into the store..
I ended up returning the frame back to the store ( which they didn't want me to do) and insisted on a refund.
At no point did anyone apologise for this mess but told me that " they were a big company and people would keep buying beds from them".
Wow I hope this puts some people off buying from them. I won't be stepping foot in one of their stores. I'll be shopping in IKEA.
