We have just spent nearly £1000 on a luxury bed from Benson For Beds. First night I tried to sleep on it I ended up on the sofa. It is incredibly uncomfortable, nothing like the one we tested in the shop. Not only that but the buttons dig into us making this bed totally unfit for purpose. Customer service do not care, they want us to spend £120 to return it! The bed is awful, yet the one in the shop was very comfortable and had no issues with the buttons digging into our ribs !!! A complete waste of money. They have also mislead us - informing us we are entitled to 40 day return if we are not happy only to find out we are not since we didn't buy the base with the mattress! Guess what, thats not what they said in the shop.The advisor from Benson For Beds at Blackpool told us plain and simple that we had 40 days to return it if we were unhappy. I would double check everything said by any member of staff at BensonForBeds just in case they are inadvertently making errors!! I do not trust this company, they sold us an awful bed and we have now put back the old one and have just wasted nearly £1000. A terrible service and a terrible bed and they will not do anything about it. We are informed it is our fault and it is only our opinion that the bed is uncomfortable !!! Really?! Oh yes, and apparently the buttons on the mattress are a feature of the bed! Yep, they actually said this and continued by saying it is just our opinion that they dig into us!! Oh and then spouted that classic line they all use... 'well no one else has complained'. Unbelievable! I REGRET GOING ANYWHERE NEAR BENSONFORBEDS. There are plenty of companies selling beds, Bensons For Beds will NOT get my recommendation. They have left me seething with anger. Trouble is, judging by customer services attitude and all the complaints on various review sites Benson For Beds couldn't care less whether you are happy or not. Once they have your money then it really is tough (replace this with another word for excrement)!!!!!

UNBELIEVABLE. let me just say this JKbensonsforbeds, I have emailed customer services 4 times over the last few weeks and they haven't even bothered to reply! considering customer services state they will respond within 24 hours of receiving an email - forgive me if I have absolutely no confidence whatsoever in this reviewcentre response.
why don't you put your full, real, name on here with a contact number to show you are from bensonsfordebs and sincere about your concerns! i find it hard to believe you can respond on here but ignore 4 emails sent directly to customer services. perhaps this is more about trying to convince readers you care than actually genuinely caring. i can assure you all, NO ONE from Bensonsforbeds has replied to any of my emails and they were rude on the phone to my wife. WE HAVE HAD TO SPEND CLOSE TO £300 MORE TO PURCHASE A SUITABLE REPLACEMENT - THEY HAVE CHARGED US £130 TO RETURN THE MATTRESS THAT WAS UNCOMFORTABLE TO SLEEP ON. WE HAVE BEEN TO ANOTHER ONE OF THEIR SHOPS SINCE WHERE A MEMBER OF STAFF ADMITTED THEY HAVE HAD SEVERAL CUSTOMERS COMPLAIN ABOUT THE BUTTONS DIGGING IN TO THEIR BODIES WHILST THEY TRIED TO SLEEP. OURS WAS SO BAD I DIDN'T EVEN MANAGE ONE NIGHT IN IT... I SLEPT ON THE COUCH!!
FUNNY HOW WE WERE NOT TOLD THIS WHEN WE MADE OUR PURCHASE !! THE MOST ANNOYING THING ABOUT ALL THIS IS THEY WOULD NOT GIVE A REFUND SO WE HAD TO BUY OUR REPLACEMENT FROM THEM. THE ORIGINAL SALES MAN LIED TO US AND TOLD US WE HAD 40 DAYS TO RETURN IT, NO QUIBBLES, BUT LATER FOUND OUT THIS WAS A LIE. AS WE ONLY BOUGHT THE MATTRESS THIS DID NOT APPLY. HE KNEW HE WAS LYING. HE ALSO TOLD US WE HAD 5 YEAR GUARANTEE - LIE AGAIN AS IT IS ONLY 12 MONTHS IF YOU ONLY BUY THE MATTRESS. THE MATTRESS ON ITS OWN WAS NO CHEAPER THAN BUYING THE ENTIRE BED WITH FRAME! THEY HAVE MADE MORE MONEY BY KEEPING THE FRAME TO SELL TO SOMEONE ELSE!

I HAVE NOW SENT 5 EMAILS TO CUSTOMER SERVICES AND THEY HAVE NOT REPLIED TO ANY OF THEM. ALL MY EMAILS HAVE THE SALES REFERENCE NUMBER IN THE SUBJECT. WHY DON'T YOU, JAY, PUBLICLY POST A CONTACT EMAIL ADDRESS ON HERE AND I WILL FORWARD ALL 5 EMAILS!

IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A NEW BED OR MATTRESS THEN I WOULD SERIOUSLY RECOMMEND YOU READ ALL THE REVIEWS ON THIS WEBSITE BEFORE YOU COMMIT TO MAKING A PURCHASE WITH BENSONSFORBEDS. ALSO, JUST BECAUSE SOMEONE CLAIMING TO BE FROM BENSONSFORBEDS POSTS REPLIES ON HERE DOES NOT MEAN THEY ARE FROM BENSONSFORBEDS, NOR WOULD I BELIEVE THIS PERSON IS CALLED JAY EITHER !
