I would never order anything from Argos ever again!!! The delivery date you are given for an item must be completely made up, they don't even bother to phone you to let you know the product you're waiting for isn't going to arrive so you're left sat at home completely wasting your time!!!

The stock isn't even available when you order it and book your delivery date, yet they are happy to take your money!! I moved in with my boyfriend in January and we needed all new furniture. We've had an absolute nightmare with all 3 items we ordered. Firstly our bed, then the sofa and now the dining table. I will make sure I tell everyone I know what a complete and utter joke of a company you are!!!!!

We're in exactly the same situation - we ordered dining table set and after 4 weeks we received...table only! They changed delivery date 3 times, then I was waiting home for nothing-no delivery, no phone call. I had to call them 5 times in the past 3 days. Today I received table and found out...the chairs are expected to be arrived END OF JULY! All May I was asking if they can dispatch by the end of the month- they always say yes but it is not true-they sell things they don't have! NEVER AGAIN.
