I bought this LEC chest freezer in August, 2007, ie 4 years ago. It has performed well since bought. Simple to use, and no problems until Dec 2nd 2011, when it stopped working. Called out an independent refrigeration engineer, who has almosy 40 yrs experience of domestic and shop units. His examination showed that the compressor had failed.
