I was promised a refund of premium by Fortis car insurance on changing my car to one in a lower group rating. It had not arrived after two months. Item: Fortis Car Insurance
Did not contact me to clear my car of personnel items prior to scrapping the vehicle after vehicle was written off by them. Also the time spent chasing them to settle claim. This company are the underwriters for M&S insurance, I would not recommend M&S or Fortis to supply any car

After a nightmarish 8 week long process with another insurance company dealing with a claim for which I was not responsible, I thought carefully about who to take out insurance with next. Fortis, I am pleased to say, offer a superb service. The level of cover is excellent, and I have just unfortunately had to make a claim due to an accident which was my fault.
