As a novice in money transfer I was not impressed with banks as rates were really low and charges added. I was not confident in just trawling the internet so Searched money expert site and a Travelex was recommended. Service was straight forward.contact was made quickly and I was able to watch rates until favourable level reached. Money was transferred in 2 days to recipient. Very happy good value. Will use this service again and would recommend it to anyone needing money transferred quickly.

Generally very positive. Straightforward to register, easy to set up a transfer and the forex rate is good. If you have to speak to a human, the staff are polite and very helpful. One suggestion for improvement. I wanted to transfer money to a Bank in the US. It turned out that the Bank wouldn't accept money from Travelex. It wasn't anything personal - the Bank wouldn't accept any third party transfers. Since Travelex know this, it makes sense for this information to be given at the time of setting up the deal rather than waiting to be told when confirmation of the deal is requested. As a result of this problem, I was locked out of my account for a while and had to phone to request my account be reinstated.

I have used travelex twice now and both times have been straight forward and no problem at all. Wouldn't hesitate in using again and much cheaper than using my own bank.

Yet again I have tried to order online. After completing all the steps including payment the message sorry we are unable to complete your order comes up. There are plenty of funds in my bank account and there is no help phone line or box on the web page

Travelex International payments - don't go there! First lack of attention to customer service: I registered for new account. Email came welcoming me to service with a UK number to call to activate my account. After close of business in UK, calls diverted to USA - Forex answer but lines not set up properly so I can hear them but they can't hear me... I gave it 6 attempts then gave up. Then I received a call from a representative - good timing I thought- but he promised an email that would activate my account within 15 minutes and told me I could make my transaction online tonight. Still waiting for email 6 hours later.... Tried website for spot deal and told closed until Monday so it is actually not possible to make a transaction after 5pm New York time I believe. This is not mentioned anywhere or by the representative. Called UK number again and this time not diverted to USA but message says closed then in next sentence 'open 24 hours'(as claimed on website).... so confused + obviously not true!! If you're a new user stop now before you waste hours of your time getting nowhere!. I expected better - I think problem is Forex - I'm sure I had same problem with Forex a few months back on calls diverted to USA that do not connect properly!

I have regular payments to make to my French bank account. The Travelex web service is excellent. Very easy to use and a competitive GBPEUR exchange rate. I can recommend it to anyone who is in my position.

Would thourghly recomend Travelex to anyone wishing to send funds overseas. The service was quick and efficent and very simple, my call was dealt with in a very polite, clear and professional manner, the rates were also very good.

Registration was simple and the Email instructions were clear and straight forward. Had to make a phone call to confirm registration. Didn't like the intrusive questioning on why I was transferring the money, what I was purchasing and why, apparently they need to know for money laundering, which in my book is a smoke screen to get as much information about you. My bank didn't need to know! But the rate was excellent so gritted my teeth. The ability to transfer funds by debit card was quick and easy. Once the deal was book, it said I would receive a phone call to confirm, which happened a few minutes later. But more intrusive questions! Would I use again, probably yes but I would check with my bank first, just so I didn't have to give my inside leg measurement and what car a drove!

Secure, quick, easy and great rates, the best there is. Much much better than banks and building societies.

My daughter is spending a year in Canada & I needed an easy way of sending money over due to problems with new bank accounts. I came across Travelex whilst searching online and the 'no fees' appealed to me. My initial experience was simple & so easy. Any question I had was answered. I've now used the service 3 times and it literally takes 2 minutes to transfer funds and the rates are very good. I would definately recommend their service to anybody.

Once again, a good service with a competitive Exchange Rate, a little better than my Bank quoted. I saved about £25 overall on a transaction involving a payment of just over 2,000 Euros. I had to transfer a modest amount of money, at short notice, from my UK Bank Account to our Son who lives in America. This is the 3rd or 4th time that I have used Travelex (Forex)for this sort of transaction - thankfully not always cash to our Son! Good rate of exchange, competitive and clearly stated fee and an easy site to navigate. The whole process took only a few minutes and I was very pleased with the service provided. I am confident that the money will be paid into the appropriate US Bank account within the stated timescale.

I well designed website that is easy to use and hard to make mistakes. The people on the end of the phone are well trained and very professional.
