I returned from the USA with more dollars than expected, unsure of what to do with them I looked around the usual outlets, only to find abysmal rates for buying back currency. I therefore searched the 'net' and came across SUYC - I locked in the rate and the following day an envelope arrived - I sent off my currency, a receipt was confirmed by email the next day and then within another day a cheque arrived along with my postage costs for the amount agreed. Initially worried about sending off large amount of money($1360) via post, but fears were alleviated by constant communication. Despite that there is always the "fear factor" in sending off money to a company you have never had dealings with before. Those fears were unfounded. Took me a few days to get to a post office so I missed my guaranteed amount, but the exchange rate had moved slightly in my favour and 'sellusyourcurrency' paid me the extra without me needing to check. We would just like to clarify that we do not charge for our service.
I think the review writer means that the loss incurred by selling the euros back to M&S, compared with his original buying rate from M&S would have been £60.
With sellusyourcurrency.co.uk, the loss compared to the original buying rate was £20.
