I received a new card from Caxton to replace my old card. Before I travelled to Hong Kong I loaded £4000 and phoned Caxton while in the UK to make sure everything was okay with the card, getting a positive reply. Arrived in Hong Kong and was dismayed when my card refused to give me any money. Straight onto Caxton and I admit I was a bit upset, however was not in anyway abusive on the phone, thank goodness. The girl I spoke to was very patient and accepted my dissapoinment in the Caxton card not working. Imagine my feelings when she told me my card was empty and I had no money in the account! After coming back down to earth and on further examination we discovered I had brought my old out of date card and left the new one at home!! Well back down to earth with a bump. Could not have faulted the girl if she had gloated on this but all she said was, 'Okay Sir. what can I do to help you'. Luckily I had my debit card with me that cost me a small fortune to use but a lesson learned eh? So I cannot praise Caxton enough for their call centre personnel's patience and help, well done. I am now back in the Far East with my new card and it is working perfectly.
