I went with Travelfx as they offered the best rate. 3 working days after placing the order still waiting for money. Contacted Travelfx who basically put the blame on Royal Mail as Travelfx had dispatched the money. I had to phone 4 times to enquire where the money was, the person I spoke to and his manager. At no time did Travelfx contact me with any upddate. Travlefx response to me not receiving the money before I left for the airport was 'Royal Mail will leave a calling card' (after I have gone!). The money will be returned to Travelfx who would treat as a 'buy back' at my cost. Very poor customer service from Travelfx, no attempt to offer any solution, would not refund me my money once they received the currency back from Royal Mail.
Lesson: go with a tried supplier who cares about their customers and not just passes the blames onto their courier. GY

You have to take the blame for what happened no TravelFX. In my opinion leaving the option of buying currency online till the last moment, then expecting no hiccups shows a lack of proper organisation. If you can't be bothered in giving yourself time then give yourself 1 star not the supplier.
