Ordered my euros on Saturday and made payment via bank transfer as requested, wasn't too worried as it says you won't hear until Monday , received email Sunday advising payment not received, tried to call but closed. My bank confirmed payment had been sent, emailed convent garden fx, got a reply telling me not to stress they hadn't checked due to the Olympics, and they would check later that day or in the morning.
No call or email, rang again on Monday, told money there, asked when I would receive my euros,was told quite rudely that I had requested delivery on the 20th, my mistake as I thought this was the latest I would receive them. Explained this and the reason for my concern, was told not too stress again and if it would make me feel any better they would be sent that day.
I felt like I was being patronised and they were trying to make me feel stupid, after all it was only £700 !!!!!!!. Euros did arrive and exchange rate good, however for me not worth the worry they caused by sending me the non payment email and not being able to get hold of anyone on the phone on Sunday.
