I have always looked at finally and opted to move from my Saab 9000 to the awesome probe. I absolutely love it. The lads at work laugh at me as I use it for the school runs with child seats in it but I hammer it at weekends. Small wheels and light steering under acceleration but great fun for no money. 65K full service history for little over a grand! I want to keep my 'green(silver)' one with tan leather interior original. Lovely cheap good looking ...

Do you remember the Ford Probe 2.5 V6? We all wanted one, more exclusive than a 3 series, classier than an MR2 and faster than a Merc and yet so few sold? Now these superb cars are just criminaly cheap. £1500 buys the nest. Get a 24V if you can afford the fuel bills because the grunt at 60Mph scares your WRX boys and its burble is just lovely. Well, I owned an Electric Blue 16v Ford Probe, and loved it to bits. Over the 3 or 4 years that I owned the car, I modified the car to be a '24v-look-alike'. This involved changing the cloth interior for grey leather, fitting a powerflow exhaust to get a nice tone from the car, fitting 24v style alloys and the 24v style cladding to the sides of the car (this sadly was never fitted to a 16v standard)
