“T90LaserIII- The last T90?”

I have been using the Strikes for nine months and am ASTOUNDED by the high quality in the lesser vresion of the boot. My Lasers are on their way, and I can not wait to see what the big brother has to bring.

The Strikes are made very well. I found a razor blade from my art suplies sticking in the side of my left boot, and after four months the hole is only a millimeter wide. The leather is a little stiff to start, but practically melts to your foot once it breaks in. The ciment used to join the upper to the plate is high quality, as the only sign of wear is the outer bit of leather FINALLY cracking a little. The white leather loses it's shade a bit, and you can see some leather fibers, but I think that makes them look bada**!

The studs do their job so well I had to get used to being able to stop as soon as the idea came to mind. After two accidental flips, I was touching my elbow to the ground on turns and hard stops. I felt like the king of physics :]

The pods, which are the only ball control enhancing tech on the strikes, did their job and then some. Nike claims that they will provide uniform striking surface. They did, and placing the ball was second nature. Nike claims an increase in striking power. I say about 30% if you use them right.
Too bad the strikes don't have the TPU fins. The leather was great for recieving a ball, but raised find would give it that bit of stick I dream of!

These are a bit heavy as far as boots go. Honestly, I didn't notice. I went from a light boot to these, and all that happened was I got these things called manly man legs.
Oh, wait... I've been working out... My bad >.>

I guess some of the weight comes from these things being as comfy as freakign slippers. I stuck my foot in and it didn't want to come out. I had to beat it with a lead pipe before it would leave the cleat, which took a while because they're so well padded!

My negatives?
1) These things are freaking addictive! I won't wear centered lacing in a game now that I've had these beauts.
2) I thought a cleet was a cleet, all that changed from one model to the other was looks. These things proved me WRING. Still a little upset about that >=-\
3) They're real foot huggers. It's a bit tricky to get your foot in without messing up your all-important lacing symmetry, and they fit so well to your foot that you have to mess it up all over again to get it out. Or, of course, you could use a lead pipe. Your chouce ^.^

So yeah, get online and find some Nike Total90 Laser IIIs for your soccer playing friends and/or yourself. I promise that these slightly wide, snug boots will please for at least two seasons.
