Was given this as a wedding present 3yrs ago and motor has gone bang after mixing a chocolate cake mix. Due to over zealous cleaning the paper serial number on the base has been washed away and Magimix head office has refused to repair. They agreed that the machine looks new but because I cant produce a receipt they will not honour warranty.
My issue is why but a paper serial number on a kitchen appliance that is cleaned in water and by them then looking at the machine and saying that it has had very little use then telling me that its bad luck I don't have a receipt to prove its not over 12yrs old.
