Offshore call center for Cust. Service, well trained in scheming the customer. They actually called me while I was filling out the webpage order, promising me an additional discount. Your CC is not secure with them as they have too much information such as the 3 digit code, something a phone agent should NEVER have access to. My phone agent actually read it to me. We canceled the card number after this purchase.
Back to the discount, when I had filled out the online form and entered the 10.00 "discount code" I had a service charge of 10.00 plus an "express" "By 1 PM" delivery charge of 4.99, When I received the email confirmation of the order I discovered that I now had a 17.95 service charge since the agent had given me my original 10.00 discount plus the 5.00 additional discount for allowing me to place the order with him and NO express delivery SERVICE. I called back and believe me you'd better have a recording running of the calls here because their responses are very carefully crafted and well taught for your complaint(s). Remember the agent CALLED ME while filling out the online form. This agent receiving my complaint informed me that their is a 6.95 charge for placing the order over the phone, something the agent that called me NEVER informed me of. The second agent now informed me that they will "attempt" to contact the florist to obtain 1PM delivery and they will issue a credit to my account after 101 days, gee, doesn't your CC company require a shorter time to file a complaint about a purchase? I assure you that I will be contacting the NYS Attorney General's Consumer Complaint Office about how this service's performance borders on fraud. BTW I did inform the second agent that the call was being recorded.
