This has to be, beyond doubt, the worst company I have ever dealt with. After treating my perfectly healthy 1 year old cat with FleaClear Spot On, she was vomiting, lethargic and wouldn’t move. As I was going to work, my friend took her to an emergency vet who was shocked to hear she had been treated with Bob Martin products. She was treated for a number of complaints including severe dehydration and was kept for observation. 5 days of worry later and £320 lighter, I complained to Bob Martin. They sent me a form to complete which I duly did and returned to them the same day. Three weeks later, they took the time to respond to my letter, simply asking for MORE information. Information that was already on my original form. They claim that without this information, they are unable to process my “compensation request”. I was not looking for compensation, I was looking for this product not to harm mine and hundreds of others’ cats.
When I ordered some Frontline treatment from my usual vet, I mentioned I’d previously used Bob Martin and her face dropped. Her instant reaction was “is she ok”? That, I feel, speaks for itself and shows that this is an appalling product which should never be sold.
I have complained to Bob Martin that it should not be my responsibility to chase round after them sending them letters and following up with numerous phone calls. I simply want this product recalled until it is truly safe to use.
DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT. It has killed hundreds of cats and made countless others severely ill. Bob Martin should be ashamed of themselves.
