Tried my cat on Advocate. 11 yr old part persian. She was off her food, lethargic and developed a type of cough. She was very active before and loved her food. I thought she must have eaten something off so just watched her and she came good. Not realising that it may have been the Advocate I have just given her a second dose. Exactly the same reaction. Now in the second week after applying advocate she is getting better sowly. I will never use this product again.

My 8 year old Persian had Advocate 3 days ago and after 24 hours was off his food, lethargic, anxious and has diarrhoea...completely out of character! I will never use this again and hope that he turns the corner as this is not good!

Hello, I have recently homed a 4 year old rescue persian. I'm due to take him to the vets tomorrow for check up and to get some advocate as that's what the vet recommends. They don't do frontline anymore. Can I ask what you now use and is your cat an indoor cat? Mine has only been outside twice but is mostly indoor.
Thanks,
B

Visit to the vet cost me £47 today. My cat has a hypersensitivity to the Bob Martin all clear spot on. It has been reported that she has allopecia and lesions all over the body. Temperature of 39.3 and anxious. No flea dirt evident but combed out a lot of dried skin. Given colvasone steroid injection and another visit and I guess more money on Friday. I shall definitely be taking this further in all directions and looking at other posts and reviews there are plenty people who feel the same.
