Having returned an Avanti Powerstretch 20ft Take Apart Long Reach Landing Net Handle which broke on 1st use 2 months after receiving it was advised cash refund not possible as return was not within their Warranty Period WHICH IS JUST 14 DAYS !!!!! Also not willing to cover £8 postage for same reason Offered a credit note for £30 which reluctantly accepted and once showed on my account proceeded to order £55 of goods which guess what triggered another £10 postage. So far £30 postage for effectively £55 of goods!!!!! When goods arrived found credit not offset and charged full £65 to my debit card. Phoned straight away and told couldnt do a partial refund but hey ho offered another £30 credit note. When I use this I will have paid £40 postage on get £86 0f foods. VERY UNHELPFUL STAFF who to start with had done nothing when the Landing Net handle was received back until I contacted them again by phone to chase up. Then they didn't tell me Dragons systems are so antiquated that they cannot add £30 to your computer account but have to keep a manual file and only way to use a Credit Note is to place your order by phone. Its the principle here of totally lacking customer service at a time other internet sellers are exceeding Service expectations e.g. Vale Royal Angling 10/100. WHAT AM I GOING TO DO ... despite cost is the principle so am sending the whole lot back and WILL NEVER ORDER FROM DRAGON AGAIN OR ATTEND ONE OF THEIR SHOWS !!!! TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE ALL ROUND !!!! GO TO TACKLE SHOPS for accountability not shirkability.
