It is not as good as it supposed to be. In other words, it is not as good as it advertised.

i bought this unit in september 2013. i use the pumps as a feed to a filter so as it claimed it will pump 1550 litres per hour i bought it. this week the sun has been constant through daylight hours and more so today with not a cloud in the sky i tested the flow rate for 5 minutes into a 20ltr container. sadly this unit failed it's claim of the 1550 lph in actual fact it only produced 20 litres in 5 minutes which i believe to be less (approx 240 lph) than 1 sixth of the claimed volume exchange. there you have it ripped off oncer more @ £149.95 as then sold by primrose. i have today complained to primrose and asked to provide a pump that will produce the volume it claims. i looked at solar powered pumps that would help keep my pond clear so i went for the 1550Lph as my pond is approximately 300/400gal. tom, sunderland

Tomrca's Response to TOMRCA's Review

update to the review: after making the complaint and pointing out the bloated claims of the manufacturer of the unit to the vendor Primrose and in addition the fact that it suggested that one could consider it for a replacement pond pump they dispatched a complete second unit within the week without quibble. i now have two pumps working and producing a volume of approximately 500LPH.
