From the very first phone call, I was really impressed with the Valour service and commitment. No judgement of my getting into a mess, just practical ways of helping me to sort things out. Very helpful staff right from the off, and spoke proper language that even an idiot could understand! Having your own personnal financer is a great, as you know who your talking to at all times unlike all those customer service centres. I have always been very sceptical of these debt management businesses. However, Valour have changed my perception completely. Efficient, helpful, friendly and have provided a good plan/solution to a problem that was causing me a lot of stress. They call me regularly and I pay one low monthly payment to my debtors directly and Valour have managed to freeze the interest so I can pay these debts off so much quicker, and be able to have some spare cash at the end of each month. I have always been really dubious of these "debt management" businesses. But when I found myself in a really tough situation where I was earning a lot of money, but my credit rating was so bad I couldn't get loans for anything and was paying through the roof for old debts, I was in a lose lose situation - unable to get a consolidation loan. Valour contacted me after visiting a well known loan comparison site. A friendly chap went through my current debts and advised that I would struggle to get a loan as my 'debt to income ratio was too high'. I was 'advised' that a DMP would be the best option 'at this stage'. i wouldnt go with valour finance as i found they did nothing to help me im currently in debt and they expect me to pay 400 upfront before they even did anything. i thought the 400 was going to my creditors which turned out i was paying valour a joining fee. i am now through a government scheme who donot charge me anything apart from the 200 i pay a month and i will be out of debt in 6 months and not 14months as valour said

I agree.. we have just left our Valour plan, we were sold they plan as the first month initial fee being our monthly payment plus setup fee. After ending the plan, it has come to light they took 100% of the first month. 85% of the second month. 17.5% of each further month.

I decided to choose valour to do my debt management plan with. I've always found them to be very honest, helpfull and pleasent. They take all the stress out of debt and nothing is ever too much for them, they even phone you just for a catch up on your accounts and too see if your ok. If you want to get rid of any debt worries and stop the nasty letters, contact Valour Financial Services immediately before it gets any worse. That's just not true - who wrote this rubbish?? someone that works there perhaps? If you want to payback 100% of what you borrowed and a someone a fee to do it - then by all means, join this company. However, there are people out there who will not charge you a monthly fee
