I bought a T reg for £2000 in 2003 and it had 37000 miles on the clock. Ran it for 2 or 3 years without a problem. But in the last 2 years I've had to replace: clutch, brake hoses and pipes, window regulator, cam belt, battery, exhaust, and constantly fight against rust. So has cost more than its worth in the last few years to keep it going.
Not bad as a first car but will not be buying a Fiat ...

I have a P reg Bravo that's now done 93k. It's on the second cam belt but that was more a precaution than a requirement. The regular service isn't a wallet breaker but of late there are a few extras creeping in - front left strut near failing an MOT, second battery while I've owned the car (but at £45 that's not too bad), front discs, new back exhaust (only £74 if you do it yourself), new fuel pump, 2 injectors, and a few other bits and pieces.
Overall it's easy to run, pretty ...

I bought my 1.6 100 16v Fiat Bravo in 2004 for £4000. It's now done 65,000 miles in total and I haven't had any problems with it! Ive had to replace 2 rear shock absorbers, battery, cam belt, front and rear disc pads and discs and the engine runs brilliant thanks to regular oil changes every 5000 miles! A bit of car can go a long way! Keeps up with golf 1.8 GTi though not quite as fast as I've experienced! Equally as fast as a 1.6 Ford Fiesta ...

I've had my Fiat Bravo months and to be honest it's rubbish. I have also had a new exhaust. The door panel on the drivers side door panel won't stay on.
It's very expensive to run and I now have got to get a new half shaft in the car as it won't move.
I recommend not buying this ...

I have had my Fiat Bravo 1.6 SX for 6 months now, and in that time I have had to replace the exhaust, have 3 new fuel injectors, and now the gear linkages are broken and it only selects 3rd and 4th. I've spent £700 on the car so far, and once the gears are done it will be close to £1000. I hate this car and can't wait to rid myself of it. If you want to buy a Bravo, buy a Saxo ...
