Bought my father in laws 2.0 cdt manual rover 75. Needed a car quick. Didn't like the look of it and the performance and fuel economy was lame, as I expected. Fantastically comfortable and good equipment though the performance and mpg was an issue. I drive a lot of B roads where the need for a quick over take of a tractor or slow lorry is very handy. The first thing I did was to change the Tyres for good year efficient grip which made the car literally stick to the road like glue. I then had the engine re mapped taking the bhp from 114 to 151. And the torque from ( approx ) 270nm to 360. The first thing I noticed was the massive boost in power, acceleration. No need to change down gears going up hills. It is fantastic. The brakes cope with the extra power very well. This was all good. And then the bonus!!!! I am driving fairly hard on B roads motorways up hill and down dale ( yes around Yorkshire ) and I am getting a genuine 60+ mpg. Say no
more. Great car. Living it.

Good review. Where did you get it re mapped and how much did it cost?
