I am fair. My dear friend got melonoma. So I do not worship the sun. Nivea is the best I have tried. It moisturizes and gives a natural looking tan. It stays on and does not come off in the pool or tub.

I just tried this stuff...it seems alright, but it dont smell too pleasnt. Its strong at first, but then it fades after awhile. It went on easily and absorbed into the skin quikly. It is a bit sticky though.Ill just spray on some perfume to cover the smell LOL. Left my skin feeling soft. I havnt used it long enough to see it has made my skin firmer. I hope it dont leave streak marks. I tried a different brand a long time ago. I think it was L'oreal. That stuff smelt nice and wasnt streaky.Maybe I will buy that stuff after this bottle is done....

While I was initially very pleased with fragrance and results, I began to notice an unpleasant body odor any time I get hot, exercise or go outside. I thought it was just my overactive imagination until my husband commented on a change in my scent when I returned from my daily walk. My skin also became very dry and rough feeling. So my opinion has changed from favorable to very unfavorable. I cannot recommend this product to anyone. Has anyone else noticed the odor issue??

the reason why this works for some and not for others, just like some other tanning lotions, is because everyone's skins is differrent. And therefore, everyone's skin will react differently to a product. You just have to use the tanning lotion that works for you. Personally, this is one of the best one of them out there, I think, for an easy gradual tan, which is easy to apply evenly, and has a natural, non-orangy color.
You just have to try several and select the one you like best. I've tried several, and am still trying several.
Everyone skin pigment and sensativities are different.

I love the consistency of this tanner. Other lotions are thick, gooey, and take forever to dry, but this is a light cream that dries quickly, yet moisturizes the skin. It does not irritate after shaving and gives a gradual, believable color. Best of all is the scent! it is a very light, fresh scent, not at all the "self tanner scent" that I cannot stand!!! And not to mention, great price too :)

I loved the smell of this tanning lotion and I loved the results. I would def buy it again. Good quality for a good price.

The tan is very gradual, it doesn't come overnight. It took 7-8 days for me to notice any major color change. I am using the light to medium tanner. I notice I am a bit firmer but I also use 2 other firming lotions alongside this.
The smell is HORRIBLE. Absolutely disgusting and the most vile smell I have ever encountered with a skin care produce. It's also a cross between creamy and greasy in texture. Greasy much like actual sun tan lotion, creamy much like yogurt. Once dry, there is no residue. As a moisturizer, on a scale of 1-10 I'd give it a 4.
For firming and moisturizing lotion, use Suave or St. Ives. Suave will pull out eye bags. St. Ives is simply the best quality skin lotion of any kind I have ever used. Queen Helene cocoa butter still holds top billing in terms of visible results for overall skin health.
As a tanning lotion, the VERY mild color it's given me is desirable. It looks like a natural skin pigment. Next time, I will try the medium to dark and simply mix a moderate amount with my favored skin lotion. Less stench, more color.
This is literally the most disgusting odor I've ever encountered with a product intended for your body which are generally scented to seduce not repulse.

It stinks, even my strong Dior Addict cant cover the scent of it.
Leaves marks on white tees and towels.
I'll never use it again. will go back to my Loreal.

Nivea Sunkissed Body Gradual Tan and Firming is the most effective tanning agent I have used. Its gradual and builds up each application so there is no chance of overdoing it and looking like an orange skin colour. Its not over priced like some products with fancy names that claim all sorts of clever thing. Its not the first time I have used Nivia products having used the spray lotion with quicker but excellent natural tan.

I have very pale skin, this Nivea Sunkissed Body Gradual Tan and Firming turned me golden. No streaks. Just smooth skin with a nice color. Glad it has no glitter etc. The smell reminds me of baby oil/caramel candy. Not strong and very nice. Other tanning lotions smell strong and make it hard to even fall asleep because of the smell. this is suttle and pleasant. I purchased the light one and realized I should use the medium to dark because it wasnt dark enough. Now I mix both the light and dark together for a stunning color. No steaks. I love nivea they have great products and I pray they do not change this formula it is perfect the way it is. This is my favorite out of all the sunless products ever.

Great product. I have tried many self tanning lotions after realizing how bad the sun is. I love Nivea Sunkissed. Although, it does not work well with sports...comes off streaky. But can't complain.

I'm fishbelly-pale, and Nivea Sunkissed Body Gradual Tan and Firming worked well for me. You have to be very careful to really rub the product in and get it evenly distributed, or it *will* streak. A little goes a long way if you're applying every day, as the instructions ask you to. I used this on the undersides of my arms too, and it looks better there than on my (now streaked) ultra-white legs. The fragrance reminds me of baby wipes, though.

Nivea Sunkissed Body Gradual Tan and Firming is horrible. On third applicaton I was really orange, not natural looking!

Nivea Sunkissed Body Gradual Tan and Firming is easy to apply, gradual tan, doesn't streak. lovely result. Golden tan in short time. Could be a better fragrance.

Nothing "gradual" about Nivea Sunkissed Body Gradual Tan and Firming. Applied it only twice, about 35 hours apart, and already the morning after the second time my legs looked "fake-tan-orange". I don't dare put it on a third day.

I bought two (regtangular shaped) bottles of nivea sunkissed medium-dark back in summer 2008 for roughly £7.99 for 2 bottles.
i'm from the UK but was in australia for a month visiting, and knew that i didn't have a hope in hell of getting a tan in their winter. therefore i bought this sunless tanner 'cause it was cheap and smelled nicer than others i've tried.
I applied this producted almost every day after showering, and let it dry for 10 minutes before getting dressed. i started noticing a colour change after about 2 days, and it gradually started getting deeper.
however, some days i couldn't be bothered and left it off, and didn't want the dan to get too dark so left it for a week at the end of my holiday.
All the same, i arrived back in the UK looking considerably browner and got loads of compliments, although i have to admit i personally thought i'd gone a tad orange as well as brown. no-one noticed it though, and i just told everyone that i'd got real tan whilst on holiday, which was believable!
Overall i would definitly recommend this product. alot of it is down to how you apply it- some of the problems i encountered were not scrubbing in the shower and therefore getting slightly patchy bits on my feet. as long as you scrub in the shower, rub it in smoothly, once a day and leave it to dry for a few minutes it's perfect! i will personally be using this product again for summer 2009.

Gr8 product and smells gr8. oesn t streak like other false tans would highly recommend it. Leaves your skin moisturised as well as tanning so i tink it is gr8 value for money. Doesnt come off on your clothes as easily as other tans

Nivea Sunkissed Body Gradual Tan and Firming is excellent value for money that should have competitors running back to the drawing board;
I like the consistency as opposed to thicker creams not only does it go further it is easier to apply lessening streaks as I tend to get with the creamy applications, after the first application you know how to get it right.
Firming lives up to its name and noticeable after the first application.
I have tried every Sunless Tanning product that has arrived AND none compare to this Genie in a bottle!
I am now living in Thailand and have to get it online as do many Expats living and working here also; being a Holiday destination people do like to TAN up without sunning (cheating) every day.
