I have used this product twice in two days. I now have very red, sore eye bags that feel like they are burning. I have a wedding to go to tomorrow and I look like I have scrubbed the skin under my eyes red raw. Stupid me should have searched for reviews before purchasing. Plus the fact that once you apply liquid foundation ( no matter how gently), it's effectiveness wears off. What a waste of money, I just hope I am not going to be more out of pocket trying to repair the damage.

It took me about a week to get used to the thicker product, but it's worth persisting. I wipe the area with witch hazel to clean away any residual cream and dab with tissue to dry. Remove the spray top, wipe top of bottle of any dried product. With clean finger over opening tip bottle and swipe a thin slick of product over under-eye area and dab round the perimeter with a tissue. Look straight ahead and wait for the magic! Any puckering can be remedied with a damp cotton bud just rolled over the puckering. Voila! I find the effect much longer lasting than the previous formula.

I have used Skin Doctors eyelift for many years . But now it is not working. No difference to the eye bags at all now. No matter how much I apply I believe it is now a new formula. I was never able to wear makeup over that area without it turning white.

I thought I would try the Instant eye lift for my bags under my eyes. I followed the instructions, I shake the bottle but the serum remains very watery which makes it hard to put a small amount on your index finger. I smooth it on and wait the 2 - 3 minutes sometimes longer. Yes it works for a few minutes but then the bags come back. It says you can put make up on over it. I put my liquid make up on with a soft brush, which I dab on all over my face within a minute it looks as though I have not put any serum on. Whether I have a bad batch but I don't believe it is worth the money.

I won't leave home without it. People never believe how old I am (61). I don't like to spray applicator; I take that out and dab it on my finger. Sometimes it seem to work better than others and I haven't figured out why, but it's always good.

All I can say is wow I love this product im 44 and have good skin but this is marvellous instant smoothness, just don't layer it on otherwise it will go cakey and white.
Tip for foundation mix a little with the serum and lightly apply with a brush. If it does harden gently remove and whiteness don't rub! This product has given me so much more confidence and i go to bed with it on all signs of wrinkles and puffinees gone.
If you do go too mad with the serum and it goes apply a tiny amount of wrinkle cream I use SD eyesmooth just to break up the film. One thing you will need to check in the day as the effect starts to deteriorate after a few hours and white flakes may appear.

I started using Skin Doctors Instant Eye Lift a couple of years ago and it was very effective and tightened up the deep wrinkles under my eyes. The only problem was as soon as I applied foundation, no matter how careful I was, I ended up looking even more wrinkly and crinkly than before!
Does anyone know how to apply foundation after using Skin Doctors?
The last lot I bought did not work at all - though I see from other reviews that the formula was changed, supposedly for the better. I would love to try it again once they resort to the original formula so hopefully someone here can advise me how to apply foundation without undoing the tightening effect.

My wife has been using "Instant Eyelift" for a good few years, always ordered online from World Wide Shopping Mall. The new formula doesn't work. She has been told by wwsm that Skin Doctors are going to revert to the old formula in the near future as there have been a huge number of complaints. Hope this is good news for everyone.

After trying the new formula of instant eyelift and deciding it was rubbish I went to the Skin Doctors website and found a phone number, I complained about the new formula and asked if it's possible to still buy the old formula. Apparently they have had quite a few complaints, they let me order the old formula online I was advised to buy 2 bottles because it will be a few months before the old formula is back on the shelves and they also sent me a free make-up bag! And for those who seem to get the white residue from the old formula, shake the bottle well, remove the lid and the squirter and dip in a cotton bud, apply with this, no residue and no waste it can't run off a cotton bud.

Skin Doctors Instant Eye Lift. I agree with previous comments re this product. I, too, have used the previous formula for years and was more than disappointed with the new one. Absolute rubbish. I emailed Skin Doctors and they tried to tell me that the tightening action was improved and there was nothing wrong with the product. I have a huge problem as I have SIX boxes of the new formula, as I stocked up when they were on special, fully expecting the new formula was going to be "better" as they claimed. What do I do now?

I absolutely agree with many of the other reviewers. The new improved Skin doctor's Instant Eye Lift is rubbish and does not work. The old one was much, much better. How can we lobby them to bring the old product back?

I've used instant eyelift for about 8 years what a great product .... til now. The new formula makes me feel like I wasted my money on an expensive bottle of water. It doesn't tighten the skin at all. Rubbish! Bring back the old one.

Had been using Instant Eye Lift for years. Was excellent product. Did what it said. Now they have changed the formula. It is now an oily sticky product that doesn't dry and doesn't remove a wrinkle or smooth anything, Useless. Waste of money

I love this Skin Doctors Instant Eye Lift, you can feel it working instantly and it stops me looking so damned tired even when I am! instant bag removal (or as near as damn it) effect does not last 8 hours as they say, I find it lasts a couple of hours.

I disagree with this review because... It all depends on which formula you were using. If it was the one in the brown and white box, then, yes, I agree with you. However, if the packaging was the new silver and white box, then I have to disagree. It would be interesting to know which formula you used.

i absolutely agree with the last review; i used Skin Doctors Instant Eye Lift to tighten the skin on my face and keep the shine off and the new formula dosent do this... i'd love to know if anyone has bottles of the old formula but i dont know if theyre available anymore

After using this product for years and being very happy with it they go and change the formula, no warning on the bottle, just change it. The new formula has no white residue but they forgot to put the tightener in it. Absiolutely useless, would not recommend it all. Save your money, buy a jar of vaseline it will do the same thing! I have bottles of this NEW formula now wasting away in my bathroom drawer, would never buy it again until they fix it. $39.95 a bottle for a sticky gooey serum that doesnt even dry just sits on your face......wet!

As it says, it lifts instantly, making the eye area look more youthful and brighter. I wouldn't be without instant eye lift. I've been using it for 2 years and cant find anything equal to it.

Hi, the old formula serum had a yellowy tint to it, the new rubbish serum is clear. Does anyone know if the old serum is back on the shelves yet?
