We spent a memorable afternoon at Leam Boat Centre courtesy of Red Letter Days. The experience was well organised from the start. The reception was fast and efficient and it wasn't long before we had our safety kit and waterproofs handed to us by our friendly instructor.

The experience was constructed to build confidence on the water and teach a number of paddling techniques. The instructor was patient and good humoured and took his budding team a reasonable distance up river before returning and allowing his charges to switch craft to allow a comparison of kayaks. The afternoon was great fun and we all felt that we had learned a lot in a relaxed setting. A hot shower greeted our return to dry land which was very welcome even though it was taking time to adjust back to terra firma,

A great experience all round, enjoyed by all and thoroughly recommended.
