This was a free glider lesson. The lesson was made available from a large number of airfields around the country, so picking somewhere both nearby and with nice views was simple enough. The flight on the day was well-handled, my pilot trainer was excellent - and calm! - and the overall experience was brilliant!

I got to fly the glider for a while! Trained for ten minutes, then the pilot let me take control. Butterflies in my stomach but what a thrill!

I was impressed with the flying club - because of bad weather we had to rearrange and they did it without any fuss whatsoever. When I arrived early, they were happy to accommodate that too.

I find it hard to say anything bad about the experience - I can't talk about the price, my wife bought this for me as a present - but she assures me it was good value.

Overall, this is a great experience, and booking it through Red Letter Days was simple. This isn't the first experience I've had through them and they've been excellent. Thanks to the Marlow Flying Club, thanks to Red Letter Days.

And if you want a really good glider flight experience, I thoroughly recommend this!
