I received a great present from my other half to go Rally Driving for the day.
Upon calling the number to claim my present and book my day, the customer service was very very disappointing.
Firstly, it took around 5 minutes for the woman to even locate my gift on their systems. Then, I was really left disappointed by the amount of cross-selling which was attempted. Even more frustrating - I had to pay an extra £10 to book a time I thought appropriate. None of this was mentioned at the time of purchase I'm later informed.
Also, the pushy attempts to cross-sell insurance just left a sour taste in my mouth. Yes - I was aware of how expensive the cars were - did I want to pay £1000 excess if I damaged one of the cars? Just a crappy way to deal with people who have been given gifts.
Really needs sorting out.
