The whole service is disgusting. Purchased the voucher from Argos, no indication that I would have to book in advance etc. When I validated the voucher I was told the experience is available Monday to Saturday however I would need to book the experience a week in advance, already pretty gutted as my partners birthday was the day after. I got through to customer services who was at first helpful, however I soon noticed that all of the available dates were Sunday and Monday, when I contacted the actual company who provided the experience they told me they were not open all week.

After this I rang customer services back to explain the situation, staff member was very incompetent, I asked to speak a manager although I was informed they were not available. I expected that, typical call centre response so I said 'let me guess, he/she is in a meeting', the call centre operator replied 'yes she is actually or training' brilliant, very scripted response there.

I hung up and spoke to a different operator and low and behold I managed to speak to a manager, must have been extremely busy in the meeting or training or whatever it was! I eventually asked if I could exchange the voucher as on the bottom of my voucher it clearly states in gold and white "this voucher is exchangeable to the value of £99.99 for or towards payments for ANY of the experiences supplies by the Activity superstore", brilliant we then tried to change the experience as the second option was available for the week after my partners birthday, but no we wasn't allowed to exchange for they date!

So I am now £99.99 down and unable to do the experience and my partner won't be going anywhere for his birthday.

Brilliant, thanks! The worst experience I have ever dealt with.

Doesn't really help that we tried to give them a second chance either as the first time we tried to book go karting, it took us 6 months to book it! However, the blame was put on us like usual.

I am very sorry to learn of the experience you received when trying to redeem your voucher. If there are multiple locations for one activity we do normally outline the details for the majority of locations, however we do state to check upon booking for specific dates or days of the week.

Furthermore I can only apologise if a supervisor was not available to you at the time of your request, you should have been offered a call back once a supervisor became available, so for that I would like to apologise.

Moreover you are correct you are welcome to exchange your voucher to another activity, within our restrictions as stated in our terms and conditions.
