My Partner purchased a driving experience from Argos which was a sports car drive, and it's always been a dream to drive at Silverstone.
There were four Cars to choose from, but being 6'2" tall my choice was limited as apparantly all Farrari drivers are under 6'. So I selected a Lamborghini.
You have to send away for the voucher which arrived within a week and then you have to go to the website to get the numbers to make a booking.
I then found that Silverstone is no longer available for Lambo Drive! Most of the other venues are at the other end of the country and places I've never heard of. So given that Silverstone was out of the question we selected the only venue which was within reach without the need to speed £50 on fuel to get there.
I've been trying for a week now to get through to make the booking, on average you get to be 7th in the que and I'm guessing that have a staff of 1 as the number never seems to go down. I have tried to contact them by email but that get you nowhere. They are only open mon-fri 9- 5 and I don't have a Job where I can hang arround on the phone for hours so I have to give up after 10 Minutes.
I have now requested a refund as frankly I would rather have the money back especially having read other reviews where it seems there are further suprises down the line including extra insurance costs etc.
Cannot possibly recomend this service and I will be writting to Argos to make a complaint.
