I have been to Cobham a few times now and always found everything very well organised and efficient.
I like the track as there are banks, trees and even a golf course to drive passed. Unlike the normal track/airfield scenario.
I was dosappointed when the 'cone chicane' appeared one year on the straight, although it does actually work, because although straight line speed may count on paper, it's the force you feel and control on the corners which make the car seem real.
These things stand or fall on the drivers with you and I have always been haapy that I have been pushed slightly beyond comfortable but still enjoying the rush of driving these cars as they should be driven.
Staff on the phone are also helpfull and as the competition grows in this sector, personnal service does count to me and I would pay more for 6th Gear than less for a less organised day out which I have had with some others.
there is a good range of cars and they all seem to be well maintained. So if on the the day you get the need for more speed there is always the oppotunity.
