We recently visited Disneyland with our three young boys...what a exercise in teeth-clenching it turned out to be!
We used VEA DIsneyland bus service from CDG...a HUGE mistake! Not only did it take forever to get there in a crammed bus which smelled of perspiration, but...wait for it...the piece de resistance...it did not arrive to collect us! Yes, it left us stranded at the bus stop, with three hysterical children, until 20 h 30.We confirmed the last available bus with the bus driver when we arrived, as well as their flyer. After trying to phone the VEA number (to no avail)we finally decided to take the train. It was actually a far more pleasant experience than the bus. I returned to the VEA offices the following day, and was told to send an e-mail. I am still waiting for a response, let alone a reimbursement! Shocking service...
Disneyland itself proved an entirely tiring experience. Each ride required at least an hour's wait...with crying children, annoyed parents, endless amounts of cigarette fumes and of -course, people who have no sense of boundaries... pushing, pushing, pushing.And then, after waiting, the restaurant ran short of food...The actual 5 minute rides were fun though..!
