viewed a house in Norwich and the vendor told me it had been underpinned. so later on i phone the agent and ask if they can get the vendor to provide information on the underpinning guarantee. the managers reply was why do you need it. So i explain that i wouldnt want to buy a property that is very diffucult to sell in the future or may fall down. His reply was "why are you thinking of selling it when you havent even bought it" so i explain that you need to make a sensible decision when spending so much. His reply was "most people buy a house with their heart not their head" I just laughted!!! Seriously not impressed!!!
